Applications are invited for the temporary post of SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW for CSIR Project on "Studies on Muller cells potential to regenerate Photoreceptor by Photoreceptor-Specific transcription factor" in the DEPT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY.
Post: PROJECT ASSOCIATE
DURATION:
Initially for a period of one year and likely to be extendable for a further period.
QUALIFICATION:
B.TECH / B.E /Master ’s Degree in Science with 02 years of research Experience / M.E / M.Tech Equivalent Degree with GATE / UGC-NET / CSIR
FELLOWSHIP: Rs 14,000 /-p.m ( subjected to revision to 18,000 /- p.m ) Candidates will be eligible for House Rent Allowance per Institute norms, subject to eligibility.
Candidates should not be a recipient of Research Fellowship ( i.e HTRA ), if so give details of dates and amount of award, duration, name of the concerned Scheme / Principal investigator / Institution & supporting Agency.
Other things being equal , preference will be given to SC / ST Candidates.
The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for
interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum
prescribed in the announcement.
Application in the prescribed format (attached with the announcement) giving name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the marks, ranks, year of passing) and experience etc., along with copies of certificates, should reach the following address on or before 30.01.2013. Candidates already working in any project at IIT, Madras should send their application through the Co-ordinator of the project.
